Large vintage kilim from the village of Karapinar in the Konya region, hand-woven by several village women for their own use, featuring three large, centrally arranged diamond motifs.
A unique piece. Very rare to find in this size and in excellent condition.
Original fringes are still present on one side, which add a wonderful vintage character to the kilim.
Woven with hand-spun virgin wool.
We estimate its age to be approximately 40 - 50 years.
Origin: Karapinar near Konya in Turkey.

It protects against evil glances and thoughts.
✿ Kurt izi / Wolf's Paw.
This motif depicts a stylized wolf's paw and a wolf's snout. The wolf, a symbol of optimism and protection, symbolizes light and sun because it can see in the dark.
