✿ Elaborately brocaded nomad cushion from Anatolia ✿

Particularly heavy and high quality. This semi-antique and authentic cushion was woven by nomad women of the Karakecilli, presumably in the 60s or 70s, and was also used as a cushion.

It is not a kilim cushion, but a rare piece of the scarcely existing nomad culture in exceptionally good condition.

We have only replaced the original material of the back with a high-quality cotton fabric and added a zipper.

The motifs and symbols of the Anatolian weaving culture are diverse and have different meanings depending on the region and tribe. They stand for happiness, love, and prosperity for the family.
