This is an authentic and valuable Soumak textile, presumably woven by nomadic women from the Antalya region in the 1980s.

Its special quality is outstanding; it is not a cut piece from a kilim, but an authentic, original-sized piece of the now-scarce nomadic culture.

We have only replaced the original backing material with a high-quality cotton fabric and added a zipper.

The motifs and symbols of Anatolian weaving culture are diverse and have different meanings depending on the region and tribe. They represent happiness, love, and prosperity for the family.
