This is an authentic and valuable Sumak textile, woven by nomadic women from the Antalya region, presumably in the 1980s.

The special quality is excellent and it is not a cut-out piece from a Kilim, but an authentic piece in its original size, from a nomadic culture that is now almost extinct.

We have only replaced the original material of the back with a high-quality cotton fabric and fitted it with a zipper.

The motifs and symbols of Anatolian weaving culture are diverse and have different meanings depending on the region and tribe. They represent luck, love, and prosperity for the family.
