✿ Elaborately and very finely brocaded sumac cushion from Anatolia✿

This is an authentic and valuable Soumak textile, which was probably woven by nomad women from the Antalya region in the 1980s.

The special and heavy quality is excellent and is not a piece cut out of a kilim, but an authentic piece in the original size, the nomadic culture that hardly exists anymore.

We just replaced the original material on the back with a high-quality cotton fabric and added a zipper.

The motifs and symbols of the Anatolian culture of weaving are diverse and have different meanings depending on the region and tribe. They represent happiness, love and prosperity for the family.

Irregularities in the color or workmanship are not a defect, as they are real handwork. The kilims from which our cushions are made are mostly between 30 and 50 years old!
